Goalkeeper: 23 years 3 months

Central midfield: 24 years 10 months

Wingers: 22 years 9 months

Strikers: 22 years 4 months
 
Lots of defenders now. I accept that Roughan could be more of a development project this season but still plenty there. Would I be the only one not surprised if Cian Bolger ended up leaving???

If only so we could lower the average age even more
 
Developing into potentially a really good squad. Got experience down the spine, where it’s needed, and plenty of raw talent. Need another GK and a striker (either experienced or really promising) and we’ll be ready to go. Do we need a left winger? Can Harry and Elbow play left side or would we rely on Jorge to do what he has done, possibly playing an interchangeable overlapping role with Tayo?
 
Who do people see being our best players next season?

Last season we knew Toffolo, Bossy would be great. High hopes for Walker and Morrell was a bit of a who?

This season I reckon Jackson will be key at the back with Edun being a star too.
 
I expect most will be looking at what Scully and Grant are doing but the key players for me will be the three in the centre of the pitch. Bridcutt, Jones and McCandless will be our engine room, either as a 3 or 2 from 3 and their performances at both ends of the pitch will be vital. We might not spot everything they do, but all three are very good players for our level.

Fair shout, but come the season end i think its more likely Roughan will have been on the edge of the squad more than Bradley. And i think McGrandles is more suited to CM.

I think Eyoma, Roughan and Scully will all be fully involved on a regular basis. Bradley may feature in the EFLT games, although another loan for a few months would make sense. I cannot see a future for JAS at the moment, he is in the final year of his contract and still nowhere near the first team. I can see him leaving at some point.

Yes Roughan is the interesting one. I did include him in the 3 youngsters (Bradley and JAS the other 2) but having watched the Salford game he didn't look out of place physically or technically so I'm very open minded to seeing him get some game time in the cups.
