If only so we could lower the average age even moreLots of defenders now. I accept that Roughan could be more of a development project this season but still plenty there. Would I be the only one not surprised if Cian Bolger ended up leaving???
Was thinking more that he isn't the most cultured with the ball at his feet and that he is a player from the Cowley era, most of whom have seemed to have left.If only so we could lower the average age even more

Fair shout, but come the season end i think its more likely Roughan will have been on the edge of the squad more than Bradley. And i think McGrandles is more suited to CM.Purely my speculation, but here is how I see us, based on a 4-2-3-1
GK
Ross
RB
Lewis
Eyoma
CB
Bolger
Montsma
Jackson
Walsh
LB
Edun
Melbourne
CM
Bridcutt
Jones
Grant
Bradley
(Also Edun in the event of an injury in CM and Melbourne fit)
CAM/ No10
McGrandles
Scully
Wingers
Anderson
Elbouzedi
ST
Hopper
I haven’t included those I don’t think will be in and around the squad (Roughan, JAS)
So based on two for each position, I think we’re down 1 GK, 2 Wingers and 1 ST!
I think Eyoma, Roughan and Scully will all be fully involved on a regular basis. Bradley may feature in the EFLT games, although another loan for a few months would make sense. I cannot see a future for JAS at the moment, he is in the final year of his contract and still nowhere near the first team. I can see him leaving at some point. And still 3 youngsters in that 19 who you would only expect to be bench warmers or going out on loan.
