That is now a really good squad with very little, if any, deadwood, although still one or two good enough to cover but maybe not regular first teamers. Also a fair bit of inter-changability/fluidity - good for squad rotation & injury/suspension coverage.

Shouldn't that be 5 strikers ?
 
It is a bigger squad than I thought we would have, although I would imagine some of the loans will be costing us very little which of course helps us maintain that number of players.

It does include 3 youth players plus in reality with the injury to Morton which is ( on last report) believed to be around 2 months, the loan of Soule is until he's fit. So in many ways it's 22 ( plus Roughan who has developed probably way beyond anyones expectation this early so I'll give you 23)

The classic two for every position plus the spare keeper. It's like a World Cup squad.
