Safety net is spot on, a helping hand when your down and out or too ill, the problem is the government have to do more to get the minimum wage increased or something as rents are going up council tax every year etc things need doing both sides but until respect is bought back into society i don't think we will see an improved welfare system tbh we have lost our way as a nation and need a kick up the arse imo

No way dude, im a peoples man we all need to declare war on rich bankers fat cat MP's i say, then we have a chance to make it and turn things around, but keep hoping that magically one of these puppet governments is suddenly one day going to magically turn things round for everybody is laughable

University should be for the brightest with a plan and a focus, not for everyone just to piss up the wall taxpayers money because they think a geography degree will help them when they get pregnant or become a mechanic. Or worse still, learn the phrase...do you want fries with that.
