The Official RIP Thread

I was SOOOO happy when I heard Barry Chuckle had died.

Let me explain...

I was watching on BBC News and the ticker was scrolling along the bottom...

"Barry Chuckle, one half of the Chuckle brothers has...."

I'm thinking, oh no he's either dead, or a peado....

"... .died aged 73".

PHEW!!!

Yeah, I must admit, whenever I hear that kind of start on the news involving a 70s or 80s children's 'entertainer', I do expect the word 'paedophile' to follow soon after!

Yes, so sad to hear about Aretha Franklin. I heard earlier today she was hanging on, but at least she can rest easy now.

Rest In Peace Aretha.

RIP Aretha, an incredible journey has come to an end; from being a mother of two boys at 14 years old, to providing an iconic soundtrack during the tumultous civil rights years of the 60's whilst becoming one of the greatest soul voices of a generation.

A life lived with distinction that touched millions.

John McCain, ex Vietnam war hero, and US Senator and Republican Presidential Nominee has passed away, aged 81.

Rest In Peace

Yes, and as classy as ever, Trump couldn't bring himself to offer any recognition of McCain's service to his country for 60-odd years. Pathetic man.

RIP Senator McCain - not my kind of politics but no doubt he made huge contributions to his country.
