I have know issue with wanting to win trophies that's why we get into football. I have a problem with him destroying our club in the mean time.

Levy HAS to do something. Obviously Covid was totally unexpected at the time of hiring Jose but you simply cannot bring in a manager of Jose's calibre and NOT match that ambition in other important areas of the club, like transfers.

I agree with ‘80’ we do seem to be a destination club but we DO need trophies and top places, preferably a league win. This is why we’re here, to dominate all the other clubs and leagues and that’s the ambition of our management now, to win and win big. Anything less than that is way off course and not in the plan. The players need to get that above all.

You just can not underestimate the effect of winning a trophy. Endless positives and pretty obvious too. So I won't bother listing them.
On a personal level...
Top 4 doesn't cut it any more, peeps are fed up of projects. Us (well some of us) ageing fans would like a bounce in our stride and be able crow about winning something again in our life time. It may even bring some more visitors to the stadium tour just to see cobwebs removed from the cabinet!
There used to be a trophy specialist club there somewhere.

I am not happy with this Alli swap talk . Both from the point of view of a fall out and the loss of Dele. Losing him and gaining a geriatric crock does not appeal to me. I'm not saying Bale is finished. I just don't see it as a good swap.
Well he'd make Sir Alex look kinda dum if he were to sanction Dele leaving. Makes no sense, dont beleive a word of it.

Agreed. Dele has gone from being a starter on Sunday (and played in all the pre-seasons) to, a couple of days later, a player that Jose wants rid of. Hacks can seemingly write anything.

IF it gets clicks, it will make the journo's hero's; I won't say which one but I know one very well known Spurs covering journalist and when pissed will freely tell you he works hard at taking half-truths and outlandish twists on a story to say whatever he likes, knowing full well it's utter bollocks!
He most definitely is not . He is putting us on the map for playing the worst football in the league. We are easy to defend against and the once self proclaimed special one is not special anymore. As a player you are as good as your last game you must always keep you standards and improve as much as you can. Managers are the same but there are you are as good as your last job. Jose has been sacked from 3 clubs in a row. His past is there for everyone else to see but his present is know where near that standard. He is a bully that's what I was personally told. He picks and blames everyone else for his short comings and as I said when we signed him as manager he will fallout and pick on at least one player. Do far he has done 3 and the way he treated Sonny in all or nothing he could make that 5 pretty soon. Outdated self obsessed bully

PJ his past doesn't matter, for many he is our last best worst hope.
Until that judgement is passed one way or another i.e silverware or P45, he will be a devisive figure - personally, I hate his character, but I'm praying it works and that means giving him time - how much is down to the chairman and Jose, as in this business results are everything.

The problem is when I played and in my real life I have to be conservative with my opinions on here I don't. So I will keep saying what I feel at that moment. Until it gets to the stage I have nothing but crap to say then I will just stop.
