There will be huge pressure on Erik this season for a top 4 finish. If he can't get some new blood to work with all his tactical nous will be of little use with his current mob of players, so GOODBYE Erik could be the case after just one season at the helm.
And not just any new blood. He's looking for a head start by trying to recruit some existing 'converts' from Ajax to help shortcut the process. Without them he may find it's going to be harder than he was led to believe as I am sure he will have been told of the 'pulling power' of the self-styled "biggest club in the world" :bull:

Shouldn’t have done it and paid the price…….

But I have to wonder whether this man has been the only person ever to receive such punishment after doing this given that it happens elsewhere with regularity but is rarely if ever reported upon…..

Flares are dangerous, he got off lightly in my opinion.

The Prize when your club is top of the pile, any bad news however remote is bread and butter for the snipers, but I agree with JK he got off lightly

Howard Webb is set to become the Premier League's chief refereeing officer after English football's long-serving head of match officials, Mike Riley, confirmed he is stepping down.

A succession plan will be phased in over the course of the coming season as Webb, the 2010 World Cup referee, remains under contract in a similar role with Major League Soccer.
