Meeting other people
It is against the law to meet socially with family or friends unless they are part of your household or support bubble. You cannot leave home for recreational or leisure purposes (such as for a picnic or a social meeting).

Where and when you can meet in larger groups
There are still circumstances in which you are allowed to meet others from outside your household, childcare or support bubble in larger groups, but this should not be for socialising and only for permitted purposes. A full list of these circumstances will be included in the regulations, and includes:

  • for work, or providing voluntary or charitable services, where it is unreasonable to do so from home. This can include work in other people’s homes where necessary - for example, for nannies, cleaners, social care workers providing support to children and families, or tradespeople. See guidance on working safely in other people’s homes. Where a work meeting does not need to take place in a private home or garden, it should not - for example, although you can meet a personal trainer, you should do so in a public outdoor place.
  • in a childcare bubble (for the purposes of childcare only)

So you can talk to other people. Thank fuck for that, I've spoke to loads of people!!!

Y'all know i think brexit was the biggest failure in statecraft since we lost america but im beginning to think it isnt. Im beginning to wonder if the covid response is actually the worst failure.

Evidence that the hospitals are becoming overwhelmed and lockdown fatigue is seeing social interactions on the rise. The vaccines should help us get on top but we are months away from that and in the meantime it feels as though things are completely out of control. So much time wasted on fooking brexit when we should have been engaged in a total mobilisation against the virus. The ordinary systems of everyday life, courts, taxes, education are completely stuck, the ripple impact of these are staggering. Levels of inequality that had been accelerating under the tories have literally had a rocket attached and are now back to stratospheric levels.

For all the spin and flim flam about how great we are, cant help but be more than a little depressed.

How about putting a bit more blame on a previously unknown virus, produced and exported from the other side of the world?

He constantly criticises Labour and the BBC. For every negative mention of Murdoch or the Tories there are comfortably a dozen about Starmer and the BBC.

Weird is an interesting term coming from a dude who believes aliens have taken him for an anal probe...
Says you! That's never voted for Labour.

But you're entitled to your opinion. Like I'm entitled to worry the direction that Labour going. Which I was a paid member for a lot of years. That got behind every Labour leader since Blair.

Your problem is that you can't stand anyone criticising the BBC.
And when someone does outcomes the mental health slurs. Just because someone has a different view to yourself. It's very childish.

The BBC news and politics taught us
To be racist
To hate the Germans
To think that immigrants are the problem
That schools are safe
That the miners deserved to get their heads smashed by the police
That every Liverpool fan is scum
That peace is wrong
That war is necessary
That the disabled are frauds and work shy

And now saying Johnson glad that Trump gone. After copying him since he became PM

The only thing I've given the Tories credit for is regarding the vaccination. But I'm Scared and disgusted that they're going against the manufacturer three weeks in between doses. This govt got everything wrong and now they're putting more lives and the economy at risk.

Let's have proof for each of those points rather than your usual white noise.

Glastonbury cancelled which is no real shock but still a shame.

Schools aren’t going back till after Easter & probably September really aren’t they? Why doesn’t the butcher just admit it now.

How about putting a bit more blame on a previously unknown virus, produced and exported from the other side of the world?

Because how we prepared for such an event and how we have responded has been an utter shambles from the beginning. Our entire strategy is one best characterised as muddling thru and making shit up on the hoof and it has had deadly, devestating consequences. That has nothing to do with the virus. I actually give a shit about this stupid island although fuck knows why. It breaks me to see such incompetence and lack of leadership.

We've spent more money than magic granpa's wildest wet dream and got the highest death rate in the world. The answer clearly requires some serious social policies and so far i have seen some job preparation training for young people. I imagine it involves being sat on their arse cos its gonna be a while before they find one.

I abhor this govt because they are not fucking good enough for this country. I despair for the day this country gets some proper leadership.

You have to wonder if events like that will ever return in their old format.

" this has nothing to do with the virus" Quote of the century first prize.
