CEO Keith Wyness Thread

Luke organ has had some very positive and progressive input and has a proven track record. As I have said we do not know what has happened but I remain positive and its not folly.

In the last 10 years we have wasted a bucket load of cash and been chronically mis managed.

I'll be quick to join you when I have something concrete to lean on 68.

Doesn't matter though, Xia's had a few years and not learnt from any errors - that falls on his head. Where was his homework, due diligence? Saying ten is an attempt absolve himself of blame to play the 'I'm no worse' card when categorically even the most basic of looks at the club prior to his purchase would've shown don't repeat the last 6 years.

The fact he did makes him the cock.

As long as we tangibly start moving in the right direction again I'll be happy. Just want to see real progress and proof to show mistakes at least have been learned from.

Xia is a disgrace and fake. He's gone awol in hour of need , jellyfish , no spine , no cahoneys .
We have a bad hombre and liar as an owner .how the feck did he get past the fit and proper test .

OK, what should he have done differently? He's brought the wages down a lot, the club has cut expenditure a lot, the PL wasters have largely gone, all while give us a decent chance at promotion.

Only thing I can think of is telling Steve last summer to use the January signings and not sign any more.

By and large our signings have been good. Maybe he didn't realise that the bunch of players he inherited were expensive crap, but on paper they probably looked OK; he didn't know them like we knew them, and it's a difficult thing to tease out in due diligence.

Players yes, the finances no when he wants to blame the last 10years to absolve himself whilst he was too busy tweeting and playing the big I am. Worked more sensibly instead of enjoying the limelight. Not gone shit or bust and placed the bar higher than the team was actually ready for given the progress that was being made. Shown some forethought.

He fucked up massively, how he reacts defines how he'll be remembered. It's not of my doing.

Also sounds like a 70’s porn star which must be a positive, see the hottest film of the year 'Luke Organ In progressive Input'

Yeah, but it could've been more professional, less fan dotey and for fear of being called a sexist, so girlie. He's not alone in helping it run that way, the fans played their own part.

I actually think the BS transfer emoji stuff was actually a good touch because it gave the message 'we're working but no guarantees' without a BS statement 'I promise we're all working hard but we can't guarantee...'.

It's the optics and fronting up in the dark, Lerner tried to but his background wasn't right to engage with a typical Brummie seeing red. So 100% personal and genuine but zero traction.

Xia's gone the other way, he's lost the personal and gone PR department with statements that say and commit to nothing. Lerner left you thinking 'eh?' Xia now leaves us thinking 'waste of 30 seconds of my life'.

Lerner built up the faith by his actions, Xia's built his faith on retweeting fans to say 'hello'. World's apart for me.

I'm not saying it's insurmountable, or unrecoverable however.

But his greatest fans on social media have now invented 'the corner flag tweet' as a thing after the statements. If he can't win people back who think in 180 characters or whatever it is and like playing with GIFS, he won't win those back who go to the nth degree in debating and pulling everything apart for a shred of fact.

If he can't pull it back, we've got a new owner, if he can pull it back the lad has demonstrated staying power, drive and answered some of the original commitment or quick buck questions.

lol OVB.

Is it his payback tweet to say up yours phony Tony or did he have a sugar rush from smoshing a family size bag of skittles?

Acting as a CEO, Wyness was there from the beginning, spouting how Xia had money outside of China, plans were in place for every eventuality etc.

He can't have been in the dark about Xia's background, he must have known where the investment was coming from. So I just don't care what he has to say really. He is suing his former employer for multiple times his annual salary (which he won't come close to receiving) and is therfore another snake in the grass.

Glad he's gone - no matter how broken the club was and how many things he sorted out on the periphery, he failed to restructure the club in a way that was sustainable.
