Same here fella. A great result. A great team performance and wait for it, the defence played brilliant. Not something I thought I would ever mention on here.

Agree that most of the sides are "pub sides" but who takes any interest in the results side of these pre season friendlies. It's all about the players get match fit. The new players settling in and the new manager bringing in his own ideas on training. The results don't mean anything.

But has he signed yet?

Unbelievable. Perhaps the only thing that has kept the remainder of the season interesting was the antisipated return of De Jong. Now he's not available the season is definitely over. Won't see him play again this season.
