The Summer Transfer Thread 2022

Seen a few links to Gabriel Barbosa. He could be interested now we’ve got shut of Captain Jack :rotfl:.

Can't see that one happening. Scored loads in Brazil and the Copa libatedores but he us playing for a side that are a basically a South American super club. Failed in Europe earlier in his career but he was just a teenager and was at Inter who were a bit of a basketcase at the time.

Bit unlikely this one. Could be exciting seeing him get on the end of through balls from Coutinho and Emi2 but I'd bet that by September he's in Italy or Spain.

Tim Vickery the South American footy expert was damming with his verdict
A controversial figure, he struggled to make the grade in Europe. He’s 25 already, he had one go already in Europe with Inter Milan and Benfica, and it was an absolute disaster. People spoke very badly of him, if he was chocolate he would eat himself, he swanned around like he was Pretty Boy Floyd.”
