Roast chicken and stuffing baguettes tonight. I also had a huge bottle of Leffe Brune to celebrate the result today.
Chicken in a white wine sauce tonight made with whole grain and Dijon mustard, cream and chicken stock cube with added bacon, leeks, onion, mushrooms and celery served with roast potatoes and parsnips, peas and broccoli. Just a banana for pud.
It was Notty, it would be a good filling for a pie too, we sometimes scrunch up sheets of filo pastry to put on the top for the last 20mins which works quite well for a pie “light”That sounds delucious!
