Darren Lyon needlessly hauls Tierney to the ground. What a ned! Second yellow and the Accies are down to 10 men.
 
RED! Lyon is booked for a second time and he's off! It's potentially a little bit soft but there's a coming together, he puts his hands on Tierney and the ref deems it bad enough to award a second yellow and send him off.

Now we need to take advantage of it!
 
We scored early and should have made more of that, instead we let them back into it and have been unable to carve out any opportunities. Need more bodies in the box.....we need Edouard in there with his height and his physical presence!
Without that sort of change to the team, we'll just continue on as we did in the first half! They'll sit back deeper and make it difficult for us to break down. We need another option! Need players making more runs, holding the ball up and laying it off in the box.....
 
Forrest on for Roberts could be the other change, Roberts has done OK but he needs to play higher up and pin the Hamilton defender further back, even if only to allow another one of our players a chance to cross the ball by getting into a better area of the pitch.

It's looking like Griffiths could be coming on, wouldn't be surprised if Sinclair is the player to make way!
 
Strangely it's Hendry coming off. Tierney likely to drop back into the back 3, Sinclair will move out wide.
 
GOAL! Griffiths! What a header!

Great cross by Sinclair into a really dangerous area! Keeper can't come and the defenders haven't followed him! Great finish!
 
Just like that! Griffiths makes it look easy with a casual header off a nice cross from Sinclair! We need more of that stuff. I know Rodgers likes talent from the continent, but Griff scores goals.
 
Dembele going off to be replaced by Edouard. 22mins to go in the game. Not sure who else might be subbed.
 
It's weird, Sinclair put in a great cross for the Griffiths goal by driving the outside and crossing with his left foot.....yet I haven't seen him do that again in the game....why?
 
I don't like a 3-5-2. The midfielders all seem to trip over each other and no one tries to attack up the middle. It
s like we cut down our own space.
 
What is with these shots into the stratosphere?! Edouard totally unchallenged and still can't get a shot on goal. The Ntcham wide by five feet. Jesus.
 
Roberts becoming more of a threat late in the game. Looks like Musonda is coming on, possibly for Roberts!
 
Think the players would play exactly the same way regardless of formation. It's become the only way they can play this season and that's down to the managers instructions. There's no directness about our play. No quick balls forward to split a defence. No long balls allowed. No variation whatsoever.

And it's bloody boring to watch!
