There is some real quality at that level. Andy Reid is doing a cracking job. Fornah, Back, Larsson, Konate and Swan must be banging on the door of the 1st team squad.

Another tremendous effort from one of the Academy sides yesterday; the Under 17s played their first group game in this years U17 PL Cup, winning 3 - 1 away at West Ham with two goals from the scoring machine that is Detlef Esapa Osong.

We are in a very difficult Group having to play Leicester and Norwich in addition to West Ham.

Fantastic start, how long before Osong gets pushed on to the 23's, he is absolutely flying at the minute. Looks a real talent. One to watch, good to see Dale Taylor is just about back to fitness too.

Both moving forward could be real prospects to come through the academy.
