Even Barcas B team seem to flit between the 2nd and 3rd tier. Think its more about preparing the players for the first team than aiming for success

Very true. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Beale was back as a number 2 somewhere in 6 months. Many great coaches have not made the step to manager.
