If anyone is interested, Macclesfield have been deducted another 4 points which had previously been suspended (I believe for non payment of players). That relegates them to the conference and saves Stevenage.

Was just saying that it makes our 5-1 defeat a generation ago (but a comparable level of player) look reasonable now when you look at the damage that Bayern have inflicted this season.

My best mate from way back in Uni is a Bayern fan that lives in Barcelona (I made sure Forest were his English side), so I'm sure he's buzzing right now.

You'd still have to say Man City have got a shout, particularly in a one-off game and if they win that they're favourites, but I prefer it when English sides don't win the CL, particularly new ones (or Liverpool).
