I don't think I've ever wanted us to win a game more. Not Reading. Not Sheff Utd last game. Maybe the FA Cup final.

A win tomorrow will mean so, so much. It will mean that our players are determined to ensure that the EFL play no part in our future at the end of this season. The Administrators may or may not find us a buyer (and a new owner), but any points reduction (deserved or not) is not going to play any part in our fate.

In the overall scheme of things, a loss tomorrow wouldn't be a big shock, and probably wouldn't de-rail our bid to stay up .................. and Brentford are a decent side, nowt against them men whatsoever ............ but I hope we bloody nail 'em tomorrow.

We love you Wigan, we do.

Today will be tough. The next 4 are winnable if the team keeps the form pre-admin going. Then Fulham may be resting players for their play off games.

Bernard (from the Empty Seats) asked me to contribute to updating the lyrics to the verses to "Come on you Latics".

Others are involved too, so these aren't final, but they're my contribution .......

First verse was really good 🤣
 
Brentford are by far the best team we've played this season, very balanced side with a really good method of play. They are doing to us what we did to Stoke keeping the ball, plenty of movement and aggressive high pressing us into errors.

Even before the admin stuff i didnt fancy us in this one so if we get anything from this one well have to pull out something special in the second half. No disrespect to our lads who have done so well lately but think Brentford look a real cut above anything else we've played in a long time. I'm suprised they are not already in the top 2 and can see them sneaking in the automatic promotion slots in next few games.
