My take on this is that the loss this season will be quite a lot more than last seasons £m1 unless we have a significant profit on a sale(s) in this financial year. The Holding Co.has already invested approx £M 1.3 in the current season to help finance this,but more is required to finance a competitive budget for next season.
 
Some may be more "investable" (if that's a word) than others. After the three years we've had the delivery trucks should be lining up, saying 'ere where do you want these boxes of cash? :yes:

It is surprising that the real wealth is going to other clubs still. Michael Eisner at Portsmouth was an odd one.

We're not near an airport nor have brilliant road links. That is a factor for some people.

we also have a board with multiple smaller investors. a model which the main man prefers, according to his latest interview.

most of these big investors want to be in total charge.
 
fits the 'developing young talent' approach. doesn't fit in with a squad of twenty, all contributing... unless he is better than shackell, boz, and bolger - which would be exceptional for a 19 year old.
