Spurs V Brighton

Like Burnley, Brighton have big men defending. No point putting crosses in when we only have Llorente to aim at. Breakthrough gonna have to come via guile, skill (as per Alli) or hope for a long range strike. Then there's always the scramble!

This team has no tempo other than geriatric walking football...Chelsea showed how to do it...high tempo, running with the ball at pace, moving the ball quickly instead of 4 passes to go from side to side and advance nowhere....it’s no use having wide players if you take 4 passes to get the ball to them, it needs to be played first time and let them have a chance to get behind the defence....this is unadulterated, mindless crap...need a huge change of approach in the second half....pathetic.....and if Brighton score good night Vienna.

Get behind their defence, ? they couldn't get much further back. They are even behind their keeper saving goals.

Llorente is great at keeping the CBs busy, but we need to avoid crossing and create gaps between the CBs and the full backs.

Son and Moura not giving us much width, same with Trippier. Rose is excellent.

With most of the game played in Brighton's half, it's is so frustrating to see that our back line still prefer to pass sideways as if passing on the responsibility. It is robotic behaviour, programmed in to their chips.
