Mine would be....

Lloris 7 - a couple of times I though he should ha e screamed at Emerson to leave it.

Romero 8.5 - another masterclass. What a competitor
Dier 8 - marshalled everyone. Our on pitch captain
Davies 7.5 - his best game for a while

Emerson 7 - brilliant first half, but made a few errors of judgment
Hojbjerg 8.5 - my MoTM. Was a warrior all game
Bentancur 7.5 - worked his socks off.
Sess 7 - defended superbly and still got into some amazing attacking positions.

Kulusevski 8 - took the game to them. Many times surround by 3 and still won the throw-ins.
Kane 4 - him putting in a big effort could be the difference in these games. His attitude is still all wrong. Just walking around for some of this massive match.
Son 7 - worked hard and dropped into shape really well. Switched off a couple of times though.

Conte 9 - drilled the guys all week to play in this mode. He deserved that point more than anyone and should take Klopp's comments as a compliment. Give him to the tools to not play counter and I think he will. Until then, he has these guys more organised than we have seen for ages.

Lloris 7

Sessegnon 7.5 - He nullified Salah very effectively.
Davies 6.5 - He was suspect in the first half and made some very bad passes
Dier - 8
Romero 7 - mistake prone first half
Royal 7 - good defensively, so so going forward
Bentancur 6 - Looked overwhelmed by the situation but wasn't useless
Hojberg 7.5 - We drew
Son 8.5 - He made a huge defensive difference today along with his excellent offensive form
Kulusevski 8 - BALL CONTROL!
Kane 6 - for his defensive work on set pieces

Berg 8 - two minutes and he made an impression
Winks 7 - Did well
Sanchez - 6.5 Did well

Conte 8 - we didn't win or it would have been a 10

Michael Oliver - 5 - He stopped at least 3 of our counter attacks where he should have played the advantage. That may have cost us the game. These naffers are subtle.

Can't argue with one of the Evening standards assessments and ratings, so won't try:

https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...iverpool-eric-dier-emerson-royal-b998639.html

Hugo Lloris 8
Clawed Sessegnon’s wayward header off his line and made a sprawling save to deny Diaz, while setting the tone with his brave playing out from the back. Powerless to stop the deflected goal.
Cristian Romero 8
Appeared to relish playing out from the back and attempting to beat Liverpool’s press, even if there were a couple of hairy moments. Throw himself in front of cross after cross and shot after shot.

Eric Dier 9
An imperious display in the heart of the back three. Superb in the air and led Spurs’ brave approach to playing out.
Ben Davies 8
In the right place to made a string of clearances and blocks, notably throwing himself in front of Salah’s shot shortly before the equaliser.
Emerson Royal 9
So often a weak link, the Brazilian had his best game for Spurs, defending resolutely and attacking with purpose. His long punt helped to make Son’s goal. Look out for the highlights reel.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 9
Magnificent at shielding the back five in a gutsy performance. Disrupted countless Liverpool attacks and nearly scored a fine goal, striking the base of the post from 30 yards.
Rodrigo Bentancur 7
Occasionally looked surprised by the pace and intensity of Liverpool’s press but got up and down tirelessly. Tested Alisson early on when he might have done better.

Dejan Kulusevski 7
The conduit for many of Spurs’ most promising counter-attacks, especially in the first half. Quieter after the interval but put in a real shift down the right flank.
Ryan Sessegnon 8
A performance to justify Conte’s faith in the young wing-back. Initially looked nervous but made the goal with a composed cross and dealt maturely with the threat of Mohamed Salah.

Heung-min Son 7
Scored the goal and worked tirelessly but failed to make the most of a couple of promising positions in transition.
Harry Kane 7
A yard off the pace, which hampered Spurs’ ability to play on the counter. Regardless, he made the goal with a wonderful touch and unselfish pass to Sessegnon.
Subs
Davinson Sanchez (Sessegnon 76’) 7
Played his part in an important late rearguard.
Harry Winks (Kulusevski 85’) 7
Initially surprised by the game’s pace but nearly had a crucial say with a deep cross which should have led to a late winner.
Steven Bergwijn (Son 90’) N/A
Ran at Liverpool threateningly in a brief cameo.

- Losing Romero before the game looked to be a big blow. Not a problem, the back three barely gave Arsenal a look in, and on the rare occasions he was called on Lloris's handling was good.
- I saw in the ratings on the BBC Sports app that somebody rated Hojbjerg Spurs worst player at 4.22. Where does that come from, his performances are consistently solid currently, and there looks to be real leadership quality there.
- Vintage Kane and Sonny. Watching Sonny consistently make a complete fool of Holding was wonderful entertainment in itself.
- Extra half point for Conte for putting his nasty little counterpart in his place.
- Thought the referee did a decent job. Didn't get everything right, but was spot on with all the important calls, and ten out of ten for not being intimidated and managing to piss off Arteta completely.

v Arsenal

Hugo - 7 - Poor start with shoddy distribution and long balls were aimless.

Royal - 7 - Shame about poor efforts up top which denied him an 8.
Sanchez - 7.0 - Comfortable game
Dier - 7.0 - as per Sanchez, easy day against limited attacks
Davies - 7.5 - Another solid defensive display
Sess - 7.0 - Good to see him averaging higher rating, just need better attack input

Hoj - 8.0
Benty - 8.0 - Solid pairing

Kulu - 7.5 - Just lacks pace, but very threatening and composed.
Kane - 8.0 - Still lacking overall workrate, but rose to the occassion.
Son - 8.5 - Relentless. Always moving and tremendous influence on the result.

Moura - 6
Berg - 6

Rodon - N/A

Conte - 7 - Not tested, but has the starting 11 on a better wavelength and influencing improvements in individuals.

Again, find myself in full accord with Dan at The Standard;

https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...-ratings-burnley-sessegnon-dier-b1000104.html

Hugo Lloris - 7
Saved smartly from Maxwel Cornet in Burnley’s only chance of the first half. Well beaten by Barnes’ screamer which came back off the post.

Davinson Sanchez - 6
Cornet escaped behind him for a dangerous chance but did enough defensively as Spurs earned a precious clean sheet. Uncomfortable on the ball.

Eric Dier - 7
Often in the right place to snuff out Burnley attacks in another imposing display. An underrated part of Spurs’ top-four push, particularly with Cristian Romero now missing.

Ben Davies - 6
In the absence of Romero, he was tasked with stepping out of the defence but his use of the ball was mixed. Defended well enough.

Emerson Royal - 6
Got up and down well but struggled to make any impact in the final third against a deep Burnley side. Unlikely to be a classic compliation, sadly.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - 8
Full of energy despite the tight turnaround, and snuffed out a number of Burnley counter-attacks, while using the ball positively.

Rodrigo Bentancur - 7
A calming presence in the middle of the park, keeping Spurs ticking over. His shooting from range was wayward, and not particularly helpful.

Ryan Sessegnon - 8
Another energetic and encouraging display at both ends. Won an important aerial challenge with Dwight McNeil in his own box and created a great chances for Kane and Son.

Lucas Moura - 6
His directness and energy caused Burnley problems and he set up a great chance for Kane in the passage of play after the penalty incident. Still, in terms of technical quality and decision-making, he is clearly a step down from Kulusevski, and it showed.

Heung-min Son - 6
When his opportunities came, Pope twice saved brilliantly to deny him the chance to close the gap to Mohamed Salah in the race for the Golden Boot. He will consider the three points more important.

Harry Kane - 7
Scored another unsavable penalty and was uncluky to see an effort cleared off the line by Nathan Collins. Not at his very best, but ultimately decisive.

Substitutes
Dejan Kulusevski (Lucas, 79’) - 6

Not fit enough to start the game after illness and limited time to make an impact, as Spurs held on.
Not used: Gollini, Austin, Winks, Rodon, Bergwijn, White, Scarlett, Craig.
