Hopefully the Oxford vaccine will speed that up considerably thenTook my mum for her first vaccine today and witnessed at first hand what a long process this is. Only one nurse and can only use 5 vaccines per batch due to storage at low temperatures. 2 hours to do 15 people. All the efforts need to go behind speeding this up otherwise we will stay in ground hog day for most of 2021.
Hopefully the Oxford vaccine will speed that up considerably then
Excuse me, NurseJust found out I've been recruited as a Volunteer on the Vaccine Programme - don't worry folks - I'll speed it all up
Excuse me, Nurse
I’ve just been watching a news report showing old uns pressing shoulder to shoulder trying to get into a London Docs for their Covid jabs. There was no sign of anybody outside trying to control them.
Is it just me who’s a bit concerned that some people who have been shielding for months could actually end up catching the bloody thing in mad the scramble to get the vaccine into everybody over 70’s arms by next month? I think some think they’ll be fine once they’d had the jab but of course that’s not the case. With the new variant spreading so easily, I think it more important than ever make sure people have their jabs safely or it may be a case of more haste less speed.
Theres plenty of toilet rolls, but people would have a fist fight to make sure they got a pack. Shouldn't this be filed under 'People are just fuckin stupid'...
Haha true, they’ll be no bog roles at all soon, apparently with the new variant, sickness and Diarrhoea is a major new symptom. HRH will be rubbing his handsTheres plenty of toilet rolls, but people would have a fist fight to make sure they got a pack. Shouldn't this be filed under 'People are just fuckin stupid'...
They interviewed a guy who had the title of NHS director of supplies today on Sky and he basically said London was bringing it on themselves. He lives in Yorkshire but has family who work in the NHS in London and he couldn’t believe what he’d been told about masks, transport and shopping practices etc. He went off onto a bit of a rant/lecture and the presenter cut him short.I had to use the Underground for the first time since the pandemic started on Monday......within 10 stops 3 people had got on without masks....the first a young guy with a defiant look on his face which said don't even ask, the second a slightly older guy who was coughing into his parka trying to shield the fact he was doing so, the third a drunk Irish guy who was looking for Hatton Garden.
Yes, people are stupid.
Was was told they procution is in Wrexham and they are at maximum at the minute....hope I'm wrong and the first 15m is availble soon. One jab has got my name on it :)Why are'nt pharmacies in the community being used to vaccinate (Oxford type) folk,i have an idea, that there is just not enough vaccine to go around, contrary to what the 's say.

It wasn't all arriving on the back of one big truck. They are making as much as they can, and its being distributed as fast as it can be, and administered as quickly as possible. Were all in this together, why are you trying to score a political point, again, again, again...?
