Self Diagnosis Isolation Corvid-19

Took my mum for her first vaccine today and witnessed at first hand what a long process this is. Only one nurse and can only use 5 vaccines per batch due to storage at low temperatures. 2 hours to do 15 people. All the efforts need to go behind speeding this up otherwise we will stay in ground hog day for most of 2021.

Hopefully the Oxford vaccine will speed that up considerably then

I’ve just been watching a news report showing old uns pressing shoulder to shoulder trying to get into a London Docs for their Covid jabs. There was no sign of anybody outside trying to control them.

Is it just me who’s a bit concerned that some people who have been shielding for months could actually end up catching the bloody thing in mad the scramble to get the vaccine into everybody over 70’s arms by next month? I think some think they’ll be fine once they’d had the jab but of course that’s not the case. With the new variant spreading so easily, I think it more important than ever make sure people have their jabs safely or it may be a case of more haste less speed.

Theres plenty of toilet rolls, but people would have a fist fight to make sure they got a pack. Shouldn't this be filed under 'People are just fuckin stupid'...

I had to use the Underground for the first time since the pandemic started on Monday......within 10 stops 3 people had got on without masks....the first a young guy with a defiant look on his face which said don't even ask, the second a slightly older guy who was coughing into his parka trying to shield the fact he was doing so, the third a drunk Irish guy who was looking for Hatton Garden.

Yes, people are stupid.

Haha true, they’ll be no bog roles at all soon, apparently with the new variant, sickness and Diarrhoea is a major new symptom. HRH will be rubbing his hands

They interviewed a guy who had the title of NHS director of supplies today on Sky and he basically said London was bringing it on themselves. He lives in Yorkshire but has family who work in the NHS in London and he couldn’t believe what he’d been told about masks, transport and shopping practices etc. He went off onto a bit of a rant/lecture and the presenter cut him short.

Why are'nt pharmacies in the community being used to vaccinate (Oxford type) folk,i have an idea, that there is just not enough vaccine to go around, contrary to what the :clown:'s say.

It wasn't all arriving on the back of one big truck. They are making as much as they can, and its being distributed as fast as it can be, and administered as quickly as possible. Were all in this together, why are you trying to score a political point, again, again, again...?

It's obvious from the countless social media postings on countless different platforms that the majority of those posting have an IQ in single figures and probably haven't learned how to wipe their arse.

It should therefore come as absolutely no surprise whatsoever that the virus is spreading at the rate it is.

Add to that the huge self entitled look at me culture and the only surprise is it's took this long to get this bad.

If only the fatalities were in the above groupings Covid would be doing the world a favour.

Sadly it isn't

I noticed that BBC News got their priorities ‘right’ again in the post Covid briefing questions. People are dying, the virus is spreading and major incidents are being declared at overstretched hospitals and what was the stupid cow’s most urgent and in insightful medical question?
‘Prime Minister, what do you think of Donald Trump’s actions last night?’

To be honest Boris should have blown her out. The fact that he responded made it even worse. All he had to do was tell her that this briefing was solely for the purpose updating people on the Covid situation and that he wouldn’t accept questions on anything else...then immediately move onto the next person. Instead he bumbled through an impromptu reply that could bite him on the backside.

We know what’s coming next from the likes of Sky, BBC and ITV don’t we? Character assassination by association. Now Trump’s really on his arse, they’ll do everything they can to associate Johnson with him even through the two characters are worlds apart........Boris does have blonde air though.

With Corby in power we would all have had it by now, downloaded to us via our free broadband, and we could all be back outside in a land covered with, what was it, 200million trees all planted within about a month of assuming power.

New vaccines don't have to be created and distributed in their socialist world, they have them stockpiled ready for any unknown, unheard of virus because, of course, they know better and have every base covered- the vaccine itself was already and kept under 50 million pieces of PPE they had stockpiled just in case , it was in that massive warehouse every NHS trust has, you know the one, behind the spare hospital every village has, just incase.
