Posh tomorrow.

We started pretty well, but poor mistakes cost us again. You can't let a striker have that much time and space to control the ball and get his shot away under no pressure. Tilt really let himself down there, although the complete lack of any pressure on the cross didn't help. Really disapointing what was shaping up to be a decent half at that point undone by a critical error like that.

Incidentally the left back who put the corss in probably should've had a straight red or 2 yellows for cynical fouls long before he got to providing that assist. It's no wonder Peterborough took him off before he got sent off.

I'm not sure why we are playing Naismith and Ostebor on the wrong sides, both look uncomfortable and keep trying to check back inside. We've got 2 strikers on so surely trying to get either wing down the line on their favoured foot to put crosses in would make sense.

Garner and Keane are winning nothing in the air from the long balls and haven't the last few games, yet we keep looking to go long, need to try and play through midfield more and when we get out wide give Naismith and Ostebor options as both are outnumbered and short of options other than try and take on 2 or 3 players by themselves and lose the ball. No point playing 2 up front if neither is able to win a header, might be better trying to drop another man into midfield and trying to win that area of the pitch as both strikers not able to get in the game with the lack of service.

Our set piece delivery has been very poor, not even getting the ball into the danger area most of the time.

Peterborough have been by far the best side we've played this season, there is some cohesion and method to what they are trying to do but still very beatable if we can start to keep the ball better and get some movement going.

I’m a bit older than 25 - unfortunately. I accept that beggars can’t be choosers in our situation but this is a really poor team. We may improve but I’m not holding my breath

Keane off thankfully, a striker who has a awful goal record playing in a deep role is never gonna go well for him. Hopefully see how Palmer does more advanced

20-80 headers won first half.
Stop lumping it into the box , try something else.

With respect when you have a non league level manager, the team is never going to be tactically aware and adaptable. Maybe good coaching because of Leam. We are just not good enough and were forced to make poor signings to patch things up and make some actual numbers. outplayed so far tonight. And yet we could of been level if our centre backs actually attempted to defend the goal. League one teams are not Barcelona, good teams yes but it's our players that caused the downfall for the goals.

Another result where we gift a team 3 points on a plate! The goals we have conceded have been shambolic. Even this patched up team and manager and we still look like we can beat any team. Sadly though tonight the set piece are from Sunday league highlights. Shocking. Aasgard done more than Keane in 2 minutes. Play him over Keane.

The effort was there but we were so poor with the ball - we made it so easy for Peterborough.

Plan A didn't work but we didn't seem like we had a plan B. It was beggars belief Naismith and Ostabor were never swoped to their favoured wing after struggling on their wrong foot all game.

But as poor as we were against one of the leagues better sides if it wasn't for a shocking error we probably wouldn't have lost that. Again we see how poor L1 is and if we could cut out the weekly errors we'd pick up results. We have been the architects of our own downfall all season.

We've played probably 6 of the top 8 and we've been poor most games yet not one of them looked a great side. If we could just have been passable and cut out mistakes we'd probably have won every game this year.

Deja vu to this time last year and the season before but with a weaker side in a weaker league.
We will just have to get used to this and not to expect much more next season either. This is where we are now. We shall just have to be patient and accept that living within our means is the new order of things. Sad after the glorious times we have had since Whelan came but we were a different kind of club before that. Just think FA Cup runs to the third round will mean something again.

Probably going to get slated for this but Otabor has a touch like an elephant and is more easily shrugged off the ball then Jamal Lowe ever was last season.
A couple of decent runs followed by very poor final ball.
Only real attribute is his pace, but rarely uses it
Beggars can't be choosers, but the sooner we replace him the better.

Every corner or cross went far beyond the back post, Garner hopelessly beaten to every header but tried his best, yet we still persisted in lumping it forward to gift them possession nearly every time.
Need a rethink on tactics, try running at the defence with the ball and keeping it low.
Massey reasonable in defence, except a couple of glaring errors but very poor coming forward.
Evans better in his usual role, but we need more movement in the opposition half.

Disappointing result that looked inevitable after they scored.
We just have very little to be able change if things aren't going to plan.
Having said that P'boro were a half decent side full of confidence with winning their last 4 games on the bounce.

We need to limp along and pick up as many points as we can until the new owners can do some wheeling and dealing in the next window. We are so lacking up front. However, there are elements of our side which are clearly well up to this standard. I think the centre back pairing really have potential to be quite solid the more they play together and Massey plays better as a full back than he does a winger. Evans would start for most if not all sides this level and if someone can get into Viv’s head and sort out his decision making we’d be so much more dangerous. We’re just going to have to suck up this current period because I think we will improve if we can improve in the final third

Deja vu again to the last couple of starts to seasons. Players on the wrong side or out of position and gifting the opposition with weekly errors. February can't come soon enough.
