Match Thread: Lincoln City v Wigan Athletic

1-3. Played ourselves in to trouble again. Lots of space and time for Wigan to place a shot. Goal. We are our own worst enemy.
 
If they are not going to play them why put them in the bench. If marquis has blotted his copy book why have him in the squad
 
Think we've done alright and not a huge anount between the twams. Were just too slow in possession and haven't got any speed for counter attacks. Maguire is the chief instigator, for too slow and ineffective.

Needed to do subs when we were 2-1 down.

Ref has been dire.

unfortunately I can see Maguire being in the team next season too.
 
Anonymous Cullen substituted and Maguire miraculously stays on as Appleton finally brings on some strikers …. with 10 mins left.

The two big differences between the two teams have been the difference in physicality and tactical awareness off the ball. Otherwise, not a vast difference, but I think Wigan can step up another gear if needed.
