My mate's son had his passing off parade with the Royal Mechanical and Electrical Engineers yesterday. I knew that kid as a very sweet little primary school boy and now he is posing in full camo with a bayonet.

10th July is a very important date in my calendar. It was on this day in 1966 that I met the beautiful young woman who became my wife. It's also the 26th birthday of our oldest grandson, Jack.

Don't go rushing back to your running mate, these viruses take a lot out of the body, whether you find it boring or not, take a week off ONCE you feel well. We aren't spring chickens after-all (I say we so you don't think I'm taking the piss, most kind of me I think!)

I take note. Although I feel ok , I haven't got the urge to go for a run at all at the moment , and I suppose one thing I have learned from running is to listen to your body.

my daughter tracey .took part in the iron man triathlon in bolton last week, started
just after 6 am and finished at 9,45 pm, she fell off her bike last year and didnt finish, so as she is only pint size, we are chuffed,,, seanie

That is so true. The other day I was out for a run and I heard something and genuinely thought it was a normal car coming from behind in the distance , turned around and it was an E car directly behind me.
