The Tories are not daft. There is no way they will eradicate workers' rights over night, but a gradual erosion with gradual excuses for doing so is what will happen.

No idea why they would want to be do tactful as the UK is now practically a one party state and the Tories should be able to do pretty much whatever they want but perhaps they fear civil unrest further along down the line so choose to boil the frog slowly before it jumps our of the pot.

UK is not a one party state.

Labour is fairly consistently in a slight lead in the polls, which would produce a hung parliament slightly in their favour.

Starmer is doing fine, despite what some of the more extreme people on here might tell you. Corbynites were never going to fuck off quietly. He's avoiding anything that can be used in attack lines later that doesn't have a chance of any actual success.

In any case, this was regarding your comment a no-deal is the fault of of the EU: patently that is untrue, its the 17.4m scaredy cats and their ignorance of the very fact leaving would cost us.
