Europe In Out Shake it all about

Brexit has led to a decline in crops and fewer home-grown products on the shelves of Britain’s supermarkets.............

all because of the strict limits on seasonal workers from the EU according to the report

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...itish-food-supermarkets-farmers-b2092612.html

Winterwood Farms, an agricultural giant based in the county, said its UK farms had been forced to leave 8 per cent of their fruit crop unharvested and would be planting less in future.

If only we had been warned (sic).... ffs.

The UK Trade and Business Commission delegation, which is examining the impact of Brexit, also heard that British farmers’ off-season trade had also been badly hit.

The report goes on to say that whereas before they could sell to the EU they now have to pay to dispose of the crops.

Great for the environment that... ffs!

LSE Centre for Economic Performance found that Brexit had caused a 6 per cent increase in Britain’s food prices.

As you know, we lived in the UK more or less continuously from 2011 to 2015. The difference between what we'd pay for our shopping in Lancashire and Ireland was quite considerable.
Right now prices are of course shooting up in both jurisdictions but on our most recent visit in mid May, we were astonished to see how expensive basics were in England and whilst Ireland would still be dearer, the difference does not seem so pronounced.
It's merely anecdotal of course.

Tobias Ellwood is rattling cages. He is the first Tory MP who has come out and said we need to rejoin the single market

The ranks are starting to rumble 🙂

Being in the single market without a seat at the table, is better than being out of the single market completely…

I wonder, if the Bozo government collapses, is that the end of Brexit?

They certainly aren't winning converts to the cause at the moment.
Government won't collapse, purely because the rest are as bad or worse.
Don't see many putting their hand up for the job

At the rate we are going I foresee public disorder and extreme acts of violence against politicians on the horizon.
