I'm not decrying any of the professions, it's just a fact. My grandad was a policeman, my sister was a teacher, my son works in the NHS, my daughter effectively works in the NHS (self employed) , but if we have to choose what we have to survive, I will stick with the food and water , thanks.

I know a might be in the minority here, but I don't really see how being against a number of Israeli government policies is anti-Semitic, although I'm sure the papers would say otherwise.

People are not their governments.

But I think most people fail to understand this. If someone comes from a country whose government are complete *****, they should probably get more sympathy and leeway and not be attacked.

I quote articles which use the word 'Israel' to mean the state of Israel: the Netanyahu government as well as state apparatus like the army and the secret services.

Why should anyone confuse this with 'Jewish people worldwide'?

But there have been deliberate attempts to brainwash us into thinking they're the same thing. Hence the phony Labour anti-semitism scandal.

I'd be surprised if it was even close to half.

There might be no modern world, but we'd still be alive. Read Maslow's hierarchy of wants, or study history, where hunter gatherers existed years before farmers, farmers existed years before police/ firemen etc. Anyhow, you will be pleased to know that's my last post on this matter.
