In some ways starchild what you describe is a bigger worry than virus itself, but in a sense, we have to worry about that later.
If there's a positive to take from your words - at least it seems the vast majority are following the advice, and if that's true of all areas, despite the pause/knock we'll still take, that scenario hopefully won't happen because we buy the time necessary and (poor choice of words maybe) the uninfected can limp business over and then be replaced by the infected who recover as we truly build a herd immunity.
