Brexit and all that shite ....

That would mean a percentage of the population not being represented by an MP so very unlikely. Also would only be possible if he didn’t have a majority. He could appoint himself a Lord and govern from there - be even less scrutiny on him then, no pmq’s etc

you live in chorley don't you, you don't get a say in any election so there is a president for that.

Who the blooming heck watches the queens speech live, ...........same as they celebrate the christian festival of Christmas and haven't set foot in a church voluntarily in years, we have family on Christmas day and the television does not go on until perhaps the evening, ...............

I don't disagree LMB, so why did the daft bugger not just be straight?

If it fails, it means we've farted about for months for nothing. A second referendum should have been held - with deal, no deal & remain as an option - conducted under PR rules ........and you know it.

As for Boris being gaffe free ......is that the best we can hope for? Our (prospective) future PM didn't make a tit of himself whilst campaigning ? (Still a chicken for not doing Neil).

I've actually warmed to Corbyn - as a person. I watched the Phil and Holly interview, and thought he came across as very caring. Yes, there was the bit where Phil wanted to play Paxman, but Corbyn probably thought "feck you, I'm not going to give you the satisfaction".

Note - I couldn't have seen myself typing that two months ago.

He's a slimeball. I can't see any redeeming feature in him at all. What an absolute turd of a man.

Wouldn't have solved nowt. Even if no deal or deal won remoaners still wouldn’t have accepted it and they wouldn’t vote it through commons. Far better to get a majority and put and end to it and move us forward.

Don’t share your view on Corbyn. In the slightest. Likewise his chancellor. Regardless of my views on their personalities their policies would be a disaster for this country.

I wouldn’t class the elderly as that and they watch a fair bit. However if you think the feckless and layabouts spend their days watching telly then that’s your opinion and one you’re entitled to.

ooo you little liar to quote Cannon&Ball

and then replying out of context

methinks LMB got you there
He’s got balls, he’s off for an interrogation with Holly. Lucky chap.

Brexit won’t get resolved whilst there are those seeking to to hinder and stop it. A second ref is also very unlikely. Likewise a hung parliament will ensure nothing gets done domestically either. Far better he gets his majority and moves the country forward.

and Phil let us be consistent

Had a email today from People-Power Index to check how open and responsive our last MP was before we cast our votes.

Lisa Nandy came 544th out of 650 in the country, needless to say i wasn't surprised.

That bloody Corbyn that angry aggressive McDonald

They Have lost my vote, they want to put my wife out of work

The good Mrs DaM works in a Food Bank as a volunteer
Bloody Corbyn wants to close down all Food Banks

Actually we will have an MP, Hoyle most likely, he just won’t be affiliated anymore to a party.

I’m a way I should be pleased. It means Labour is guaranteed to lose a seat they would ordinarily have won. We will have a very good MP, no longer in the labour party who I do actually respect. All that said I still feel cheated I won’t be able to vote for the party I want, even though it would have counted for zip as they’d have lost in the constituency. Guess it’s the principle of being eligible to vote but effectively prevented from doing so.

Where did you copy that from ?... but you're right, I don't care about you or yours or him or his. Where you're wrong is I donate to several charities and probably do more to help fight disease than you do. If Corbyn and his cohorts ever get near to # 10 you will all suffer as industry ups sticks and leaves this country in the shit. He will also grant his mate in Scotland another vote as the price for propping him up. This utopian place you dream about doesn't exist because his form of socialism is doomed to failure. Will I care about that...no. I will still do as I do and mine will be provided for because of a lifetime of toil on the part of me and the wife. 70 hours + , week after week after week. Christmas day after Christmas day spent grafting for what we now have. You probably resent me for what I have achieved ( dont get me wrong I'm no Rockefeller but comfortable) and that is the politics of envy.

Ever watch Gulliver's travels where the horses were in power...that's how I feel about today's society. Animals should stand for parliament and I would happily vote for them.

So you vote for Jezza and when it all comes crashing down with unemployment soaring and all those things you describe come to pass don't come running to the likes of me sobbing because I won't care.

Now excuse me but I have an early start to continue to provide for mine.
There'll be a hell of a lot less businesses leaving Britain due to Corbyn than if we have Brexit. More to the point quite a few notable economists now look at Corbyn's manifesto and have concluded that big businesses won't leave and we will in fact be fine. So you can stop with your scaremongering tactics.

So now that should allay your misplaced fears.

In terms of the rest of your post. I do volunteer work and contribute to charities. You fail to pick up on the facts of rising homelessness, child poverty and food bank usage being massively higher in the last 9 years.
Added this the public services have been sold off or cut to the point where they don't work anymore. This puts more strain on Charities where it should be the government stepping in to help.

Would it not just be better if instead of patting yourself on the back for your charity donations you actually voted for a party that will help to make sure there is less reliance on charities such as food banks etc.

Bury your head in the sand all you want but after 9 years of austerity there needs to be a change. And while you have worked hard all your life (well done) there are people working just as hard if not harder and still not able to make ends meet so just think about those less fortunate than you before you vote for more tory cuts.

People have died as a direct link to austerity measures. Thousands told they were well enough to work and then died. Says everything you need to know about this government. And you and others like yourself who live in relative comfort still vote tory to suit themselves. Pretty abhorrent if you ask me.

It's them and us with the Tories. and I'm sorry but unless you were educated in Eton or some private school or are in the top 5% then you are cannon fodder for the Tories. You've been sold a lie. It's okay though, you can still vote against it. Unless of course you enjoy seeing Kids starving and enjoy not being able to see a GP or massive waiting times. Again the list goes on.

precedent.
;)

I knew what I was typing but it did not come out that way,

Knowing him as well as I do, he will always be in the Labour party just as his father and great friend of my parents all were.

will leave ???

Why don't we talk about all the ones that HAVE left since 2010 under a tory capitalist utopia system ??.

Why don't we talk of the 100's of jobs that Wigan's biggest private employer shipped abroad ??

.
