Another one bites the dust! (pt III)

Gerrards assistant gone to QPR.

Watford hired Forest Green manager.

Kompany possibly to Burnley.

Duncan Ferguson favourite for Blackburn.

Bookies suggesting Blackpool looking at Dave Challinor.

Birmingham seem to be sticking with Bowyer.

Reading sticking with Ince.

Arveladze at Hull a bit of a question mark still.

Seems a lot of clubs are gambling on managerial appointments with no past success at Championship level. It's going to be difficult to predict with so many unproven / unknown quantities.

And yet the Horwich clown on the radar of none of them - unsurprisingly.

He was one of the front runners for Blackpool with some bookies which makes sense as he was there as a player for 7 years during their best spell.

I think he'll probably stay where he is but it wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility he fancied Blackpool.

Don’t think Evatt will go to Blackpool personally unless he gets backed in the transfer market which does not look to be the case. He has history there so it will be interesting, but long term it would be better for him to get Bolton back to the championship

Birmingham City have sacked head coach Lee Bowyer after 16 months in charge at St Andrew's.

Blues finished 20th in the Championship table last season, having won just four times in 26 league games after the end of November.

Strange timing. Wonder if player power had anything to do with it need to hope they get another flop in so we can beat them in august

Gutted they sacked him now, i was hoping they'd keep him and lose the first few games of the season first.

Stoke City have sacked manager Michael O'Neill after a poor start to the Championship season, having won just once in five games.

I remember everyone slating Southampton for sacking Nigel Adkins after a handful of games for Ponchetino after he took them up to the Prem and it turned out to be a masterstroke.

So you never know - maybe sacking Parker now will be a great decision but it does look like they just panicked and made a knee jerk reaction.

Whoever the get in (Dyche maybe?) isn't going to have the chance to bring in any of their own players and Parker has spent a reasonable amount on new players so you'd think you'd have given Parker a bit more if a chance.

Dyche would set them back - does not suit their style of play.

Regardless of who they appoint they are going down, a bit like us they managed a massive over achievement in getting to the Premiership and staying there way longer than expected….they exceeded their inherent ‘small club limitations’ but in this mad world there’s only so long that can continue. Well done to them for getting back up primarily courtesy of massive parachute payments but they must eventually ‘blow out’

Parker has been sacked for opening his trap more so than getting battered by the billionaires.

Chelsea/Man Utd/Liverpool now routinely paying 60/70/80 million for ‘reasonably good’ full backs and forwards who no one has ever heard of is becoming standard. Utterly ridiculous.

Chelsea sack Thoas Touchel I didn't see that coming
Not surprised …it’s been nearly 4 months since the useless sod won the Champions League, should have got his finger out ages ago.

who signed that Cuccurella for £60 odd million when Chilwell was on the verge of coming back from injury ?….came back Sat as a sub then scored equaliser and set up the winner whilst Cuccurella didn’t do a right lot ….if it was the manager responsible for signing him then….maybe….if (as is increasingly more likely these days) the signing was orchestrated by a DOF or “recruitment team’ ….maybe they’ve fired the wrong bloke ?
