A To-do Bucket List

No, not one of the 'dying' ones, we've all got plenty of years left in us yet!!

When I was boxed in the other week, bad back and bad weather, I made a list of things I want to do this year.

We've already got three coach tours booked, but I would also like to do:

Go to Cleethorpes on my birthday
Do an overnighter in Hartlepool - tick
Family day out at Marten Rasen races
A day in Skegness - tick
Coach tours to Weymouth - tick, Llandudno tick and Blackpool
Pomegranate Pantomime in December
Bridlington, day with friends at their caravan - tick

Locally I want to:

Walk round Endcliffe Park - tick
Walk round Rother Valley - tick
Have a walk down the woods - tick
Have a walk to Renishaw Hall - tick
Go to Western Park Museum - tick
Have a walk round Queens Park - tick
Have a walk round Clifton Park - tick
Go swimming - tick
Sheffield Five Weirs Walk

Have a bus trip to Doncaster: Barnsley: Mansfield - tick: Worksop - tick: Derby: Ripley - tick: Nottingham - tick

Plus I already have one on my list for next year....a coach tour to Southsea, so I can have a walk down memory lane in Portsmouth.

Also I want to see my Gary Roberts play, so I guess to the Proact Stadium when the weather gets better.

We have nothing special planned for tomorrow, so hoping to tick off one of the local ones!

So, has anyone else got plans for 2014?

That's another one ticketed off, Hartlepool! Had fab time!!

Here is the Wingfield Castle, with his friend the Monkey!!
I threw some coins in his 'pot' but missed with a couple doh!!

Oh dear, Cleethorpes for my birthday is off now, cos we have to be up at the crack of dawn the next day to go to Skipton and Saltaire with the Monday Natter Club.

I'll leave it on my list though, may make it on a different day.

Cleethorpes is still on my list, hoping to make it later in the summer.

Next one Market Rasen tomorrow, my fav day out of the year!!

Fab day in Doncaster today, so that's another one ticked off. Nearly there now!! :17:

Oh, and Caz, when we were going through Conisbrough, I had a gander at the Cromwell pub. It all looked very proper and serene!! No two women causing a lot of fuss, chatting blokes up and wanting a meal that wasn't for sale, lol!!!

Can you remember when we asked for a sandwich instead of the carvery meal, and eventually they gave us one....then that hairy biker and others asked for one!!! lol. I bet they were glad to see the back of us, but we all had a good laugh, didn't we!!

Er, I can't think of owt that would shut us up Caz....unless there was a male streaker running by. We would have mouths agape then maybe???

I doubt it Caz!!! Do we ever miss owt?

Oh, and The Five Weirs Walk on my list, will have to wait until next summer, George has a painful foot!

Exactly, you know were he's coming from then. I always go to Chesterfield in nearly flat shoes. It's all cobbled streets there.

I do like Derby - there's the new with the old. Last time we went we walked along the river bank - though it was a nice day! Darley is beautiful which is near by
