Is pay on the day available for Gills home games

Got to be in the UK for a week or two and hope to get to a couple of home games. I won't know if I'm going until the last minuit. Will I be able to pick up a ticket on the day?

    Four four two

Headlines read 50 greatest players ever. Not one mention of Alan Wilkes, or super Bob Taylor. What's wrong with these people

    Danny Lloyd

Released by the club over the summer. Badly injured playing against Ipswich. Anyone know what's happening with him. Thought he was a cracking player for us once Harris took over and think he could still do a job for us if fully recovered.

    Music to Drive to.

Following on from the Wayne music thread, I thought driving music and the memories conjured up deserved it's own thread. Late 1970's driving through Epping forrest after a good dumping of snow, in a clapped out mini Clubman listening to Elton Johns funeral for a friend/ love lies bleeding...

    Is it just me?

For the first time in a very long time, I'm really excited to see who Harris brings in. In all honesty I can't wait for the new season to start. It seems like ages since I was this enthusiastic about Gills. Just for once I don't think its all going to tears. But there again it is Gills :slap:

    Great day all round.

Started the day with Gills playing well and getting a good result. Then the weather closed in the temperature dropped and it started to pour down. By the afternoon id got the wood burner roaring away, a tray of tea, some chocolate digestives and watched 633 squadron. Its the simple things sometimes

    Jeremy Hardy RIP.

One of the funniest men on radio has died of cancer. I often listen to "The News Quiz" podcast when I'm on the road and more than once have had to pull over, in with tears of laughter, as Jeremy went off on one of his rants. Rest in peace Jeremy there aren't many who could make me laugh as much...

And the prize for most prescient poster goes to..

Baghdad Bob who wrote on 28th july 2018 "Come the end I think 51-55 points for me and people moaning about Lovell out before the new year. We've not signed anyone of known ability so difficult to see us really stepping up beyond what we did last season." Sorry just bored waiting for the...

I know its still very early in the season but........

I hate it when we loose 2-1 especially when we give the opposition a 2 goal start the put in a valiant but ultimately futile effort to drag one back. I'd far rather we played crap and lost 3-0. Loosing 2-1 can very easily become a habit thats hard to break. Can't help it that scoreline realy...

    Who's got the best uniforms

Stuck in the departure lounge of Auckland airport with nothing to do but talk to her indoors. My eyes wandered to the various cabin crews making their way to departure. It struck me that Emirates crews looked bloody smart wheras Air NZ cews were stuck in the early 1960. Cathay Pacific looked...

    You know what

I've seen better Gils sides. i've seen more individualy talented Gills sides. I've seen far worse Gills sides, but i dont think i've ever seen a harder working Gills team than this current one. I cant remember even the great Pulis sides working quite as hard as this lot. :14:

    Breakfast

Three slices of wholemeal toast with, proper Marmite (not the shitty Kiwi stuff!), home made orange marmalade, and quince jelly. Each on different slices obviously because otherwise it would taste like crap. Accompanied by a pot of Typhoo tea purchased at vast expense from The Auckland Pomgolian...

    Did anyone else notice ??

Just watched the youtube higlights of Gills vs MK Dons. At about 1min10 into it theres an fantastic bit of skill. The ball seems to come out of the sky with snow on. from right to left. The guy on the left wing (cant see who it is) doesn't think of trapping it , but in a single movement takes...

    Most under rated TV cartoon

For me it's got to be Noah and Nelly. Possibly the most surreal kids programme on mainstream TV. Nelly could knit anything from a piggy bank to a 40 story block of flats. I even used to skive off college to watch the odd episode. Rhubarb and Custard was nowhere near as good
