    Jovon Makama One-Two-Three

We now (remarkably) have 4 .... FOUR.... fully fit strikers. Unfortunately for Jovon, despite all the fully deserved adulation for what he did yesterday, he remains 4th in the pecking order. It was a brilliant moment for him, for the coaches and the club. Let's all enjoy that (after all, it was...

    Next Manager/Head Coach Discussion

As Liam said last night, the primary role of whoever comes in ...... whatever else the board or the fans might want........is to best prepare the team for 3pm on a Saturday to give them the best chance of winning the game. Whilst other qualities are important, they are all secondary to actual...

I think that makes the point perfectly. They may not fit "the model", their football may not quite fit the style the board (& some supporters) want, they may have left a slightly sour taste in the way/manner they left previously. But in terms of what we need right now, then are they...

Suggestion from Radio Lincs that (in their opinion) we won't see anyone in place until after the Port Vale game.

Agree. Albeit at Chesterfield which is non-league football and with by far the biggest budget in that league now Wrexham & Notts County have gone. And of course..... he might have another good No 2.

Wasn't he Paul Cook's No 2 for quite a while? Or am I mistaking him with someone else? If so, the he was quietly credited with being the biggest reason for their success, including at least two promotions and was sponsible for much of the coaching and style of play. Ref: his time at Wigan then...

    Next Manager/Head Coach Discussion

As part of the coaching staff that has overseen some of the most boring, turgid and uninspiring football we have seen for many years, I would argue that he himself is very lucky to have survived this. I'd have got rid and gone for a total clean slate. Seems the board have total faith and...

    MK gone

I suggest that conversation probably did happen, hence the sudden quotes (after Peterborough?) about him being "in the sacking business".

    MK gone

Agree. It told us virtually nothing of any interest. Lots of small reasons contributing to a bigger picture they didn't feel met their ongoing objectives. I did think the way he avoided or skirted round the has he lost the dressing room question was quite interesting though. Suggests he probably...

Match Thread: Lincoln City v Burton Albion

That's the way he chooses to play even when he does have attacking players available. How is what we watched yesterday much different to several of those games last season?

Match Thread: Lincoln City v Burton Albion

That imagination starts on the training ground and in the coaching done there. These players look increasingly disillusioned with the total lack of imagination they are being asked to use. They look as bored playing this ultra negative brand of football as the majority of us are watching it...

    Frustrating to say the least.

It's even worse in Block 2. As well as all the people you describe (and I agree..... it's frustrating), we also have to put up with all the people from the Legends Lounge coming back to their seats, most of whom seem to come back after the second half has kicked off.
