Lovely finish using the defender to partially unnsight the keeper. It depends if we spend big on a forward to decide if he goes on loan again. If we start the season with Ings and Watkins he needs to be given a chance. No point on him sitting on our bench if we sign a first choice CF.

I don't think any of these promising young kids have been given long enough to see how they would cope. As said, i wish we were a bit more brave. I like Ollie but there are times when i think Archer needs a chance and not looked at as someone who's not ready.

To be fair, the players Gerrard has brought in have been much better. Be interesting to see whether he's happy with the current striker set up, or not, i think he knows what he's doing, Just hope he's not trying to buy goals when he has somebody already capable.
