Where has this alienation bollocks come from about Watson?
I spoke to a former player at an U23 game at the back end of the season; if anyone could have a claim for being alienated it would have been him.
At the beginning of last season he was told he would take no part in the season and would not be included in the 25 man squad.
He was injured at the start of the season so he could not go out on loan; he trained regularly, told the Club he was available should there be a spate of injuries and even made himself available for the U23s.
He said he was upset that things had not worked out for him but he loved his time at the Club and had no complaints about how he had been treated.
Professional conduct is a two way street; players who take the piss should not act surprised if they get some back.
