I would much prefer this than him playing for another PL team.
I think we all echo that sentiment. I am sure he would love the opportunity to play with his good friend Messi and this would be a fabulous bookend to his great career. It will be a very sad day when he leaves - the last of the core group (Vinnie, DS21, Toure) that provided the spine of the team that began our most recent journey as a club :cry:

Well we have 3 playing LB for us, Ben is gone after injuries, Cancello is a RB, and Zinco is good, smart, but not really a LB, so I would say you can never stop still, and you must aim to import or promote from within every season.

Referee Lee Mason will retire from officiating at the end of the 2020-21 Premier League season.

Manchester United's fixture against Fulham on Tuesday will be the 49-year-old's final game in charge.

The Premier League have confirmed that Mason will become the league's first dedicated Video Assistant Referee (VAR) from the 2021-22 season.
