Last night wasn’t slit ya wrists time. Felt both sides cancelled each other out. Replay the goal 20 times and doubt Arter would get that outcome more than once. Lucky bounce off Watson, lucky control (with or without arm) stood up and punted the ball goalwards. 6 inches further back he would have got no power, further forward would have been over the top. Anywhere else defence would have closed down as he adjusted.
Still a good cushion and as long as Swansea doesn’t win tonight that cushion remains the same.
Would a draw, be the best outcome between WBA and Derby. Keeps both WBA and Brentford playing to the end. Come layoffs that maybe significant.
Feel the table is very much looking like Fulham 4th and Forest 5th. Two cagey games likely. Plan B will need to be better than De Costa, Diakhaby and Mighten though. Is holding Carv back a master stroke? I wish.
