Lord Ron Saunders
Vital 1st Team Regular
I remember him coming to my mates house on a Friday night after he retired, He was working for the Villa pools, going round to houses getting the money in. I think he's done every job at Villa.
I know Sir Brian was due to go to the sty before his retirement but I am choosing to forgive him that.
My question is would he have got into the Championship winning team a year or so later, if so at the expense of who?
Brian Little to the sty for £600,000, it was happening.

It upset me beyond belief. My Mum used to work with his mother in law and because of that we used to get loads on Brian signed stuff and he became more of legend in our house because of this - then this news brokeFair play to you, I can't remember this morning, never mind 40-odd years ago
Replace Benteke with Withe and it works as they are then all Villa legendsSaw this on social media earlier. Pretty cool, but Benteke, as much as I loved the guy and wish he was still here, feels a little out of place?

Everytime I hear that song it brings a tear to my eye. They should still come out to it nowSlightly too young to remember this, but worth a share for you old codgers on here...
100% agree with you - it brings back some memories of the great days at Villa Park. No doubt Dean Smith will remember it and who know it could just be a talisman....Everytime I hear that song it brings a tear to my eye. They should still come out to it now
