Did confirm though that I'm really one of the lucky ones in life.
I suspect that most of the other posters on here are in the same boat.
Thing is ORF, a lot of folk are not so lucky as you and in the same boat, far from it, take those poor saps in Haiti on 30 cents an hour more than likely producing the very shirt on your back.
In order to stave of starvation they are being robbed of their land and exploited by the likes of the Clinton Foundation in order for the them (Clintons) and the owners of the likes of Target, Gap and Wal-Mart…can generate vast profits.

2012. Opening of Caracol Sweatshop. Workers, mostly young women, paid $.31 an hour after Sec. Clinton and her allies force Haiti to lower wages from $.65 an hour.

Caracol sweatshop housing, gets kinda hot in those cement boxes.
No, unlike you, they dont have …
-a living wage;
--overtime and severance pay;
--the right to organize;
--protection from sexual aggression by supervisors;
--physically safe working conditions;
--coverage of medical costs in the event of work-related injury or illness;
--at least one break a day, plus the time necessary to eat lunch and go to the bathroom;
--provision of drinking water and decent bathrooms; and
--protection from arbitrary or retaliatory firing. socialistworker.org/…

This is not to say there aint no slave labour in the US, far from it …..
In 2014, the imprisonment rate for African American women (109 per 100,000) was more than twice the rate of imprisonment for white women (53 per 100,000). (FACT SHEET: INCARCERATED WOMEN AND GIRLS — The Sentencing project)
“All told, nearly a million prisoners are now making office furniture, working in call centers, fabricating body armor, taking hotel reservations, working in slaughterhouses, or manufacturing textiles, shoes, and clothing, while getting paid somewhere between 93 cents and $4.73 per day.” wocinsolidarity.tumblr.com/…
"The Hillary Clinton Building… Chevron, Bank of America, AT&T, and Walmart, to mention some, all take advantage of US Prison labor as other corporations exploit Haitian labor. All the same donate big money to the Clintons."
The above are, IMO, several of many reasons why the present system is shit and reasons I cannot stand idly by without voicing my concerns and putting forward a need for change.
