Boszi, just listened to your CIA agent and can't quite make up my mind whether he's very extreme or maybe round the bend. Either that or perhaps my brain has gone off the boil. Some of what he says makes sense although nothing really new but he has a strange way of suggesting ways to change the system bordering on civil revolution. It's never going to happen while most of us are at least partly satisfied with life. Isn't that the general nature of things?
I flipped through the rest of that video and this fellow wasn't the only one with extreme ideas so in general I wasn't greatly impressed.

It did help to make my mind up that nothing has greatly changed in my lifetime. Did confirm though that I'm really one of the lucky ones in life.

I suspect that most of the other posters on here are in the same boat.

Thing is ORF, a lot of folk are not so lucky as you and in the same boat, far from it, take those poor saps in Haiti on 30 cents an hour more than likely producing the very shirt on your back.

And, as Putin once said in an interview, “if you know that a fight is inevitable, then strike first!”.

You think that all is this over the top? Consider what is at stake.

First, at the very least, the Trump Presidency itself: the Neocons and the US deep state will not let Trump implement his campaign promises and program. Instead they will sabotage, ridicule and misrepresent everything he does, even if this is a big success.

Second, it appears that Congress now has the pretext to open several different congressional investigations into Donald Trump. If that is the case, it will be easy for Congress to blackmail Trump and constantly threaten him with political retaliation if he does not “get with the program”.

Boszi, I'm in the North of Thailand at the moment for two weeks and am having a hell of a job computing. Haven't been able to access your assorted posts in detail. I tend to agree with you on most of it I think and I've seen enough of the world and the people in it and also lived long enough to have learned the basics to understand when I'm well off.

As for most of the rest of the underpriviledged, and there's an awful lot of them, I'm totally sympathetic but can't actually see a solution. Wish I could.

I'll be trying to keep in touch but there are doubts.

we all agree that theres been inequality and shit jobs if any and its similar now to how it was in the 80's and we mainly agree that the standard of education is much lower and peoples actual learning ability is also being affected by the modern world. so if we have far more less educated people than highly educated (education can be so many things from different sources) voting on important issues how can we be surprised 'whatever' the outcome?

in many ways it's an intelligence divide as much as an economical one and there is correlation between those two things like it or not.

The middle and higher classes never really want the masses intelligent or healthy but this dble edged sword has throughout history led to chaotic revolt.

no intelligent rational person could vote trump if they are serious about what is required to be in that role. period.

at the same time most rational people would have had a hard time voting for Clinton too.
