Tottenham v Nottingham Forest Saturday 11th March 3pm kick off MATCH THREAD

Put in come youngsters to show the seniors how to apply desire and energy to try to win...forget the usual suspects Conte...Son should not even be on the f'in bench mate!

Why the feck did we buy the likes of Gil, Spence Sarr, Danjuma Soonsup -bell etc if you Conte stick by the OLD (operative word) guard and rely on these experienced dont giva a dammers! Blood some young ones in to build for the future FFS

Who cares?

Might as well try something different now...

Forster, Porro, Romero, Dier, Royal, Sarr, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Danjuma, Richarlison, Kane.
4-3-1-2
You may as well schlepp up with your boots on Saturday Scott. There's more chance of you getting on the pitch than Richarlison after last night's outburst.

God knows what Danjuma is feeling/thinking right now. He was a few minutes away from signing for Everton but then we step in and hijack the deal. Who knows what spiel we would have spun him.

Okay, he would have been involved in a relegation battle but at least he would be playing every match. And maybe bagged himself a permanent deal at the end of the season?

Instead, look at where he's ended up. I don't care that he's not match fit for 90 minutes (if that's even true) he should be able to make regular substitute appearances. On the few occasions he's come on he's made a good impression. And he's one of the very few you feel could change a game.

Yet another waste of a signing by our team. Or Conte, more to the point.

A few defenders hobbled off last night. Conte may be forced into abandoning the three centre halves. He could of course ask Kane to play there - perhaps in a sweeping up, quarter back type role.

Some are saying we should win this as we will want a response to our last poor showing. I actually think it will go the opposite way. Forest can smell blood. They know there’s in-fighting and a lack of confidence. They will be pressing from the first whistle.

Sorry, but we are gonna get a real demo of passion, desire, energy, tactics and a lesson on ball control and passing.............. from Forest's young guns. Aurier will show he still offers more than our tralists at RB.

...and guess what?. Pool play B'mth away at 12:30 on Saturday and could be ahead of us on goal difference with still a game in hand. You know how we handle pressure!!!

You just know what the outcome will be don't you!

Yep good point, that's Richarlison done for this season, although Conte could play him now to prove a point and then slag him off after the game if he don't perform.

I tried playing football again Monday (after a 10 year absense) and it's fair to say my football career is over.

Become a coach Scotty - almost as rewarding lol!

We'll hear from Conte today, in his pre-match talk; surely some journalists will have the balls to question him beyond the normal tripe they do?

Tomorrow we will find out if Conte's remaining objective is to sabotage our Club totally before returning to his beloved Italy.

If tomorrow is a case of same old, same old, with same preferred eleven, same tactics, same anti football, he should be banned from the Club totally, and never be allowed to come anywhere near again.

If however, having already to all intents and purposes wrecked our season, he now follows the same course as the last quarter of last season, and allows the team to go out and play with the same sort of freedom that will be necessary to hold on to fourth place, we may yet experience some excitement and enjoyment over the last twelve PL games, whether we achieve top four or not.

There really is no better starting point for a complete change of approach and team selection than a home game against Forest. They really are a pretty poor team.

Their fans and others we think we're better than could say the same about us. I remember the game up there; they were better for long spells and didn't deserve to lose. An early season game and Son started his stinkers to continue what he's dishing up now. You can toss a coin for this one.
