Ooops (a datuk is the Malaysian equivalent of an OBE).

KUALA LUMPUR: A man who claimed to be a datuk got himself in trouble after he told police officers that he was high on drugs.

City traffic deputy chief Supt Ahmad Adnan Basri said that the suspect, who was driving a car, was stopped during a traffic operation in the city at about 11pm on Friday.

"He created a ruckus, questioning why he was stopped and claimed to have a datukship from Pahang," said Supt Ahmad.

The police did not find any contraband on the man but noticed that he seemed to be in a daze.

"He admitted to have taken an illegal substance. A urine test conducted on him at the Dang Wangi police headquarters was positive for metamphetamine," he said.

Supt Ahmad added that further checks showed that the suspect's claim of being a datuk was false.

Not exactly Malaysia but it made the news here:

JAKARTA (The Jakarta Post/Asia News Network): As bizarre as it sounds, young Indonesians have found another affordable way to get tipsy — boiling sanitary pads and drinking the water.

Police in Jakarta; Bekasi, West Java; and Kudus, Central Java, have arrested several teenagers caught while experimenting with unusual methods of getting intoxicated. Most used menstrual pads to make the formula.

Adj. Sr. Comr. Suprinarto, the head of the Central Java chapter of the National Narcotics Agency, said it was the chlorine in the boiled mixture that created a feeling of "flying" and hallucinations similar to the sensation experienced when taking certain drugs.

"The used pads they took from the trash were put in boiling water. After it cooled down they drank it together,” Suprinarto said, as quoted by kompas.com.

In 2016, groups of teenagers in Belitung, Bangka Belitung Islands, and Karawang, West Java, did the same.

“I don’t know who started it all, but I knew it started around two years ago. There is no law against it so far. There is no law against these kids using a mixture of mosquito repellent and [cold syrup] to get drunk,” Jimy told The Jakarta Post on Saturday. – The Jakarta Post/Asia News Network

Pretty horrific way to receive the penalty through hanging, but it’s their rules you have to play by them

I don't think they will hang her. They will do a deal with the British government for her to serve her life sentence in the UK.

Funded by the British tax payer, she’ll serve 5 years in a nice cushty UK prison at our expense and then be a free woman again with her and her husbands wealth.

Justice.

Taiwanese actress finds out hubby’s mistress is her mother

TAIWANESE actress Jiang Pingzeng made a startling revelation on a talkshow that her former husband had cheated on her with her own mother, China Press reported.

Jiang married him after a whirlwind romance. They got hitched less than a year after meeting.

She conceded that their passion dwindled eventually. So she consulted a fortune teller, who told her that her husband was cheating on her.

When confronted, her husband confessed that he was having an affair. What shocked her was that his “mistress” was her own mother.

“If I didn’t do it, your mother would have gone away with someone else,” he apparently told Jiang.
