I'd say trick of the eye, as I can also see somebody doing a spiderman impression over on the left and crawling down.

I don't really know much about self-driving cars, what's the story with drink driving then?
I assume you can drive down to the local, knock back 12 pints, jump back in your car and away home with ye?
Or does there still have to be some modicum of responsibility?

Not an "alien alert!" but an interesting picture from Mars.
Tree or plant life? Or a glitch?

Our study focuses on something else that shapes beliefs: We looked at what matters the most to people when they’re deciding what’s true. We found that having faith in your intuition about the facts does make you more likely to endorse conspiracy theories. However, it doesn’t really influence your beliefs about science, such as vaccine safety or climate change. In contrast, someone who says beliefs must be supported with data is more likely both to reject conspiracy theories and to answer questions about mainstream science and political issues more accurately.

LOL. I'm not sure you need a study to tell you that!!!!!!
Astronomers have found a cool, Earth-sized planet that's relatively close to our Solar System.
The properties of this newly discovered planet - called Ross 128 b - make it a prime target in the search for life elsewhere in the cosmos. At just 11 light-years away, it's the second closest exoplanet of its kind to Earth. But the closest one, known as Proxima b, looks to be less hospitable for life.

The United States Bureau of Land Management "told me they would not allow me to do the event ... at least not at that location," Hughes said in a YouTube announcement, amid international attention over his plans to launch into the 'atmosflat.'
"It's been very disappointing," he said.
The world's largest lithium ion battery has begun dispensing power into an electricity grid in South Australia.
The 100-megawatt battery, built by Tesla, was officially activated on Friday. It had in fact provided some power since Thursday due to demand caused by local hot weather.
South Australia has been crippled by electricity problems in recent times.
Tesla boss Elon Musk famously vowed to build the battery within 100 days - a promise that was fulfilled.

Amazing guy, isn't he? Whether all this is truly the answer, time will tell, but at least he's trying.
I keep seeing articles on his Boring Company, and wonder why it's news that his company is boring? It takes me a minute, each time, to figure it out.
