Yes, it was a decision by the planners. They reckoned that houses in Redditch didn't need gardens due to the vast open spaces of verdant greenery.

Apparently, people are posting empty crisp packets back to Walkers in protest because they are non-recyclable. The Post Office isn't happy because they are legally obliged to deliver them to the Freepost address
