Luke Oliver is a central defender and towers above most at a whopping 6ft 7 but he was played as a makeshift striker last week as James Hanson their 1st choice target man is out injured. The local paper suggests he will again play that role against Northampton tomorrow as part of a front 3. He had the 2 best chances of the 1st half last week against Gillingham and when played as a makeshift striker last season while here on loan he scored 2 goals in 2 games. I think some of the odds compilers must have missed this as you don't get odds of 28-1 for 1st goal on any striker and they have lazily priced him up based on him being a central defender so let's take advantage of their mistake.

He is priced up at around 8/1 9/1 elsewhere.


As well as this each way single I'd also be tempted to have an each way double with Luke Chambers. Pays 754/1 if both players score first

This is the irritating side of football betting.
PSV were a class above Groningen but happy to sit on a 1-0 lead.
Groningen produce one goalbound effort after 88 mins to equalise and leave little time for PSV to save face.
PSV guilty of one similar result last year,Ajax wont believe their luck.

Yeahh crazily short and if you can stand large bets is surely a nailed on drifter at some point. They have some quality there and they have to improve on recent seasons but hmm, they wont last out as is Im sure but if they are up there in January they might buy a couple o players like Prately n Whittingham from under our noses n stay up there.

not happy , picked out Masaya in the 1.55 at Newmarket but didn't get online in time to back it .......won at 20/1 ....then i'd picked out Fury for the 2.25 but heard an interview with Kieron Fallon beforehand who said he was worried about soft ground so opted for Pisco Sour instead that i then backed e/w at 20/1 ......you guessed it .....Fury 11/2 beats my one into second ! this isn't finished yet.......i then went to back Saphresa at 9/2 in the 3.00 only to find i had insufficient funds so i try and top up and there is an error and i get a message to call customer services ......i can't get through on the phone ......and yep ....the horse wins .....I fookING GIVE UP !

phew ! i live to see another day but i thought it was going to win as it was leading until the last hundred yards but then got swallowed up .
