It's a bit difficult to say where I am on the spectrum , as I only saved my figures and not my graphic.
It would be better if someone could display the figures in an easier to read format

Out of interest would the bold bit above make you reconsider some of your positions in the future?
With everyone so far finding out that they're a bit further left than they would have thought suggests more that the parties themselves have drifted to the right over time, with the Tories now a genuine right wing party. Authoritarian (Priti Patel as home sec anyone) and very very free market, low regulation, capitalist (Brexit and "reducing red tape" etc).
As an example, Ken Clarke was expelled by Boris for holding the government to account over Brexit etc, when he was the bloody chancellor under Major.
It's death by a thousand cuts.
The point really is MM that nobody is right and nobody is wrong.
It’s just opinions.
I’m aware that my brother finds some of my political opinions distasteful as he’s quite a long way to the right.
Am I correct and he’s wrong?
Well, maybe not because the party that he supports is in power and has been for many years and probably will be for many more years.
I’m left complaining and pissing in the wind.
Only when Labour gets it head around the very simple fact that it’s about power and not ideals, then things may change.
I would have if I'd found it that important.Take a screengrab
No. The authors of this Political Compass (there are others) have moved the centre line leftwards - to make the Conservative Party seem as "far right" as possible. With everyone so far finding out that they're a bit further left than they would have thought suggests more that the parties themselves have drifted to the right over time, with the Tories now a genuine right wing party.
"Authoritarian" and "very very free-market" is an oxymoronAuthoritarian (Priti Patel as home sec anyone) and very very free market, low regulation, capitalist (Brexit and "reducing red tape" etc)..
"holding to account" ????As an example, Ken Clarke was expelled by Boris for holding the government to account over Brexit etc, when he was the bloody chancellor under Major.

This is mine - which is what I'd expect. The one below is the positions of the parties at the last election - which to me shows how the traditional right/left debate is largely out of date. We normally consider the lib dems to be very very central, but just look where they are on the scale below.

To be honest with you, no. This is just a random online quiz. I would reconsider my position though based on policy and approach of politcal parties. There were policies from all parties I agreed with last election, rather than pinning myself to one side and shooting the other down. However in the end you have to decide which policies matter most and which ones hold the most policies you agree with.Out of interest would the bold bit above make you reconsider some of your positions in the future?

Well Johnson is loudly proclaiming we are globalist Britain having left the EU.

trouble copying so I am just using yours as it’s near enough for me. Though I was a tad more to the centre on left right.
The British National Party aren't on the list but do you really consider the Tories to be a few pixels away from them?
It should be noted that the website it says it is owned by Pace News Ltd which seems to be pro-Democrat, anti-Republican. The owner Wayne Brittenden is a political hack who I am guessing politically probably sits on the left. The site is also connected to a charity founded by Glenys "My husband Neil is probably more well known than me" Kinnock.
Read into the above what you will, but my personal suspicion is that the scoring is very much with a left leaning lens. Going back and redoing the test but looking at the questions more in the context of how I think the test is going to score each answer and I think it is probably only possible to get a result between the two not quite straight lines drawn below.

The one observation was that any answer that could be even slightly authoritarian was by definition "right wing" and I am not entirely sure it is possible to fix your answers so that you can be left wing and have authoritarian tendancies.
Personally from my interpretations of where the various parties are, I think all the parties on the graph should be 2-3 grid points down and to the left. With exception of the SNP who I think should be a few points up.
