Mike I am so sorry to hear the loss of your mom! I have been busy lately and not got on so much and checking all the posts I usually look at.

Losing mom is difficult, I know. She is the woman who carried you, gave birth to you and your first love.

Been through this too. It was at the time I first started reading VV from the sidelines and feeling to vulnerable to post for a while, nearly 9 years ago.

The world has changed for you. Your anchor is no longer physically here. It will take time to adjust. Self care Mike, something men dont do or dont usually admit too.

Theres no time limit on grief. Grieve the way you wish and you wish. Dont let people try to tell you in a subtle way to move on. Grief doesnt work like that.

For you or anyone on here struggling maybe explore CRUSE bereavement services. It is something I am using now as its specialist area for bereavement support 1-1

The spider in my bathroom was found dead today. Now, I don't like to make wild accusations, but he was alive when I went out. I came home and he was dead. My plumber was in all day fitting radiators.
