The Official RIP Thread

RIP Rutger Hauer - his performance in Bladerunner (and the film in general) led to my discovery of the writings of Philip K Dick. For that I'm eternally grateful.

Nora Quoirin the 15 year old school girl with special needs found today. RIP little one and my deepest sympathies to the heartbroken family.

Nora Quoirin the 15 year old school girl with special needs found today. RIP little one and my deepest sympathies to the heartbroken family.

For anyone who is not aware this young girl was on holiday with her family in Malaysia and went missing more than a week ago. Just so sad.

It must be heartbreaking for the family. She was only 2km away and they couldn't find her.

I've been hiking in that forest reserve a couple of times. It's massive and certainly no place for a kid on her own.

RIP Nora.

Margaret Anne Field

RIP Mum - will love you forever and always be grateful. Not least because you were one of the few :utv: in the family dominated by Blue Noses lol

(yes, this has taken a few days to post folks)

Cheers chaps, yes tough and I've had my moments but others to focus on like my dad and kids.

Least it's meant a fortnight odd where you haven't had to put up with me! lol She'd raise a smile at that even if it seems strange to take the piss this quick. But it's how she raised me (along with dad) so fuck it - never really liked her anyway, she made me turn the internet off when dial up was a thing many years ago and I was busy secretly looking at porn.

Laughter is the best sauce. Or is it medicine? Ah fucked if I know! lol

I know it probably seems strange taking the piss at this stage, but whatever helps with the process. When my auld lad passed on last year, the first thing that happened when I saw my brother was we made a joke about it! lol.

Well, she did a good job raising you, that's for sure. You can be proud of that.

I've found the sauce I'm on works well lately lol

It is strange to take the piss, but that was how I was brought up. My first Chapel of Rest was for my Grandad and there were hair dye jokes so I'm continuing the tradition.

It helps, and it honours I think.

I am proud mate, if I'm half the parent she and dad were for me I'll have done good.

Right offski, come next week I'll be back to normal - take the warning! lol
