Emi is a throwback to a bygone age where appreciation is shown to the people and club who put you where you are today. I dare say it came with financial gains but reading his comments I believe its purely for loyalty and footballing reasons. I can only salute and appreciate the man that is Emiliano Martinez. I have no doubt whatsoever that he will go down as an Aston Villa legend and possibly one of the best keepers we've ever had at the club, and we've seen a few.
